I have a 2001 SuperCrew, is it possible to install a center seat belt on the front bench seat?

 

It should have one unless the truck was modified. Look down between the seats and maybe under the seat.

It's lap belt only

 

It appears you are correct, the lap belt is actually under the seat. (not sure how I missed that before) But it looks like the buckle (receiver) half has been removed. I can't find that.
Is it supposed to be on the left or the right side?

I believe it buckle is soft sided and can go down between the seats too

 

So this is what it looks like down the right side of the center seat. I'm not seeing any type of buckle for the belt.

 

Should be inside that plastic sleeve, and coming up through the elastic band.

Looks like someone might have cut it off, I'd think you'd see it if was there

 

Ok, that's what I was thinking too. Guess I'll be looking for one of those too now. Just bought 2 new for the back seat. Thanks for the help.
