Question Lug Nut Size

Hello,

Just picked up a 2001 Super Crew 4x4. Awesome Truck!
I traded my 2000 Vette in for it. www.ravens.net/c5

I have a 1998 Navigator I was planning on keeping but this super crew is great and I might sell that since this truck does it all.

Anyway, my question is: What is the size of the lugs? I took a lug nut off and went to Pep Boys looking for some locks and they have the display lugs to test the size and it did not fit on any.

9/16, 12mm or 14mm did not work. I think its 14mm but with a coarser thread....any ideas?

Thanks!

you are going to have to order the locking nuts from ford, because (1) they are a special thread; and (2), because the centering come from the hub (the genious that thought this one up should be shot), and not the nuts, you need a special nut. You can try to get pep boys to run the part number, but you will most likely be asking ford for them.

Size is 14x2mm thread pitch. Gorilla makes them, you can download there complete catalogue online. Called Summit with part number and they found em, they searched awhile cause I think they were so new, good to have the part number from the catalogue. I searched everywhere for 14x2mm lugnuts very few tire shops had only one type (acorns) in 2 1/2 " and 1 3/4?? lengths.
