Thumbs up Motorcraft 5W-20 synthetic blend at Wal-mart

Wal-mart has Motorcraft 5W-20 synthetic blend for $1.77 a quart, if Motorcraft is making a syn. blend it must be ok to use.

Question

If you look at the part numbers, you'll see that the "Synthetic Blend" is the same part as the regular motor oil. I have some of both in the garage and am pretty sure they just changed the packaging.

The new red bottles almost match my red truck

I think it's the same oil in new packaging.

Only black bottles at the local Wally World. That's OK 'cuz they match my black truck Recently, it's been hard to find any Motorcraft 5W-20 on the shelf. Today, my purchase of six quarts cleaned them out, again. Maybe we'll get the new, improved red bottles next shipment.
