Retrax Bed Cover
jryager,
I see from your pics you've peeled the stickers off the side, too. I advertise for no one, not even for Lariat. How waterproof is the cover, or has it been tested yet?

Fireman,
This is not my truck.... these are photos that Retrax sent me of their cover on a Screw. I am just trying to decide what tonneau to get for my truck.
I only advertise for my dealer... GM is a close friend of mine.....

Well, I received my Retrax cover and finally got it on my truck. I like the way it looks and it appears that it will fit my needs. However, it may not be the cover for everyone.
I will caution anyone that wants get this cover in the fact that it does take up about 15" of front bed space - with canister and large lip of the roll-top cover. Also, the instructions are not well written and incomplete. Example: the instructions don't tell you anything about installing the lock on the cover (it's pretty easy). The instructions also don't give a list of the basic tools needed for the job (phillips screw driver and cresent wrench or socket driver).
I could put one on in about 20 minutes out of the box - now. However, in trying to be careful and reading the supplied instructions it took a friend and me over an hour to get the cover on.
I haven't had any true test of the covers water resistance yet, but with all the seals and drain tubes installed I'm not too worried about the bed getting all wet.
The cover will likely fit my needs as I don't plan on hauling large items in my bed. If I do, I can take the cover off in about 5 minutes.
