Post Step Tow Bumper Hole/ClassIII

The hole in the bumper has bothered me from day one, not so much that it was there but, that the hole through the crome cover was not centered around the hole in the black steel bumper inside.

I was cleaning up around the garage today and came across the black plastic plug that came on my y2k F150 XLT bumper, it fits pretty good and finishes the bumper off a little cleaner. I'm sure anyone could find this plug at a dealer for short money.

The attached picture is not the best but it gets the idea across,I'll be looking at digi-cams soon.

I took the plug off my 98 Supercab that I was returning at lease end while picking up the Screw.

Ball hole cap

I noticed the same thing with my Screw and wondered if someone made a plug for it. I've seen several F250s with black bumpers with these plugs so it must be a Ford part. I just haven't had time to get down to my Ford dealer to get one.

If you do let us in on the part number. I may be up at my dealer and I will try to get one as well.
