Line X Bed Liner

I had a Line X bedliner installed (?) last Friday. I drove two hours to have the Line X rather than the Rhino dealer here in town. I prefer the appearance of the Line X to the Rhino. It was also $85 cheaper with a downloadable $20 coupon from the Line X website. My next plan is to purchase a Stockland clamp on hard tonneau cover (as soon as they are ready). It seems like a shame to cover up the Line X with the tonneau, though.

Also, does anyone know how to easily remove the license plate bracket/cover from the front bumper? It appears to be a riveted type of fastener. Even the service manager at my dealership wasn't sure. Can you say hacksaw?

Hacksaw it is

You are right about it being a rivet. Take off the thin bottom plastic trim (About 12 or 14 little screws) then take off the airdam/valence (about 10 screws.) That will get you right to bracket. It doesn't take too long, just be careful with the hacksaw. I used a cutting disk on my dremel.

I too had a X-liner sprayed into my bed just yesterday. It looks GREAT! I couldn't be happier with it. One thing they did was to take out all the screws in the bed and remove the access panel in the gate (which they sprayed seperately) before spraying. A totally professional job.

Thanks, dnale, for your reply. I will do my best to remove the bracket without seriously depreciating the vehicle.

My Line X dealer also removed the bed screws and the tailgate, NoVaSC. It was a first class job, and I am very happy with the final product.
