Bed dimension's for 2002 ?

Hey there,
I friend just purchased a 2001 screw.
They went to have a cap put on and Leer said they did'nt make them anymore & are retooling for the 2002 model which have a different bed configuration. Anyone heard of this & can shed some light on this situation, what's going on ????

I really would like to see some heavy duty option's on the new Screw's. Like a gear choice of 3.73 or 4.10 would be great.
A 7700# option would be great for those who use it commercially
& would like to put a plow on,or at least a plow package availability. An longer bed configuration possibly as an option.
Any other thought's from you guy's & gal's ???

See ya ...Mike

I think they are full of it.....

But on another topic Fall, I saw a truck exactly like yours the other day and thought it was about the best looking one (except mine) I've ever seen. This one had the billet fuel door and it looked great against the black.
