Ride Height Survey- sort of
Yes....I know I mistyped "Height" in the original title.
Lots of threads lately here and all over about ride height and why it differs. So, lets try this (stock 4 x 4's only):
List whether or not you have ORP, whether or not you have trailer tow, what wheels you have, and then take this measurement:
Open front drivers door all the way and measure from the top of the open door at the upper back corner straight down to the ground.
Mine:
ORP-yes
Trailer tow- yes
17 KR wheels
75.375 inches

The wheel size doesn't matter... it's the tire size that counts.
Mine isn't stock, but you have a few options of stock tire sizes.
Anyway, incase you're interested.
ORP - No
Trailer tow - Yes
16" wheels with 305 tires <-- Neither stock
76.75 inches
No lift or bar cranks!

Is ORP Off Road Package? If yes then no because it wasn't available last year. I bought my truck in June 2000, but it does have the skip plates. Anyway,
ORP - no
Tow package - yes
Tire size - stock 16" 255/70/r16
75 3/4"

Well since it was my whining about my sister's higher SCrew that started this, I guess I need to get her to measure her truck. I still believe it is taller than any of these listed. I'll let you know.
