From Honda to Fords

Is there anybody else that has done something like this ????

Back in 1991 my wife and I went from driving two GM's (S-10 Blazer and a Cadilac) to two Honda's within two months. I just realized we went from owning two Honda's (2000 Accord, 1995 Odyssey plus a 1996 dodge truck) to owning two Ford's. Bought my wife a '01 Expedition EB in April and just purchased a '01 S'crew Lariat 4X4 last week.

I seriously looked at the Avalanche before buying the SCREW. Great concept ... I thought GM finally has a winner ... until I got an upclose look at one. CHEAP LOOKING. The Avalanche looks too much like an oversized Aztec. (the Aztec being one of the Ugliest things I have ever seen)

Anyway ... I love the Fords and cannot wait to add some toys to my Screw.

I cannot decide on a Soft Tonneau or a Hard Tonneau.
Cat back exhaust system (deciding which one)
Spray in BedLiner
Lift ????
Larger tires ????

Well , yes, sort of. I sold my 94 Mustang Cobra Pace Car and bought my wife an 01 EB Expy in February. Then within a month I sold my 99 150 to my father in law and purchased an 01 SuperCrew. Add this to the new house we bought last summer and folks probably think we're selling crack to pay for it all...LOL

It seems I have never bought the same brand twice. Just the opposite of you I guess. This is my first Ford truck and I love it! I may become a repeat customer this time.

ScrewFun:

You're not alone.......until I bought my SCrew in December 2000, I had purchased 5 consecutive Honda's 1979, 1986, 1987, 1990 & 1996, then two Maxima's. Can you believe it??

The family got larger and older, and I got less practical and bought the SCrew........no regrets at all.

If I was selling crack I'm sure the best customers would be Chevy owners . You have to be doing crack to think the new Avalanche looks good. I wonder how many Rubbermaid trash cans they have to melt down to make one of those trucks?

Screw owners seem more like the moonshine type to me

After my '00 Civic Si was stolen I got a '02 Acura TL-S, but just sold that to get my Screw and an 89' Saleen. I love the truck!

I did, went from driving a 1998 Honda Civic HX to my '01 SCrew. Couldn't have made a wiser decision, I love my truck.

I'm also torn between the soft/hard tonneau issue, the hard's look so good, but then again I like the soft's too. And since I don't haul, and have no real use for a hard, I'm thinking of just going with the soft cover for right now.
