Question Torsion Bar Lift?

Can someone tell me how this works, and if you can do it yourself..
- Does it only lift the front?
- does it effect your ride?
- how much lift can you get?

Thanks for any assistance in this matter..

I got about an 1". Yes you can do it yourself, simply start tightening the torsion bar adjustors until you are happy with the difference. One inch level the stance for me and that was what I was looking for. After I first did it it pulled a little to the right, I kept tightening the right side 1/4 turn a day until it straightened back out. I first had turned them both evenly.

No you should not need the alignment, I believe there is just manufacturing tolorence differences in the T bars and that is why I had to make a couple adjustments after the initial turns.

Cool

I raised my Super Crew about an inch. I measured from the ground to the top of front fender wells. I started to crank the torsions and kept turning tell I got everything leveled. Had my alignment after I notice some ware on the outside (Toe in) of the tires but it could have been just normal since I live in the mountains.

-- Good Luck -- 8^)
