21.08 Mpg
On a recent trip my 5.4L Screw got 21.08 MPG.
This was on a hot day, the temp was 90 degrees, and the A/C was off. Most of the driving was about 65MPH.
Now, if I can get this kind of milage around town.
Oh, I've got about 5,000 miles on the beast.

Glad to here you're getting great fuel economy.....You didn't give the specifics, but an accurate average would be over several fill-ups and atleast a 1000 miles.
Because....if you filled up and drove only 200 miles then re-filled with 10 gallons (20 miles per gallon) without filling to the exact re-fill point, you may have been able to squeeze another gallon in (11 gallons) and averaged 18.2 miles per gallon.
Fill'er up all the way......keep track of total gallons added and total miles driven for 800 to 1000 miles, then fill'er up to the top again and figure the fuel economy, and let us know.
Good luck, I hope your numbers are real.........

I only got 12.75 out of my first tank. after 4600 miles I had "nursed" my average to 13.8mpg. The secret is staying below 2000rpm, using the cruise control, and pure open interstate. the overdrive ratio is so tall on these trucks, that they have sort of a "split personality" when it comes to fuel thirst. I got 20.66 from Portland, ME to New Haven, CT.
The 17 inch wheels area big plus. The guys with the 17 inchers are turning 300-400rpm less at 70mph. This keeps them easily below 2000rpm. The limited slip differential also eats a lot of fuel in tight corners, but on the open interstate, it shouldn't make difference.

I seem to be getting really good mileage out of my SCrew. Haven't been on a trip yet so most of my driving is country roads and through town. I was getting an average of 15.2 ( have 5500 miles now). The last tank was 16.9. Only change was the addition of an LSII tonneau. I can't see the tonneau making that much difference but I should be able to tell after a few more tanks.
