I know this belongs under the “Brake” thread but I figure more people read this one. My problem started yesterday while I was driving down a steep mountain freeway from Lake Tahoe. When I would apply my brakes I would hear a loud grinding/rubbing type noise from the brakes. It was so bad that I was expecting them to go out at any time. Once I got down on flat ground the noise appears to have gone away for the most part, I have only heard it twice driving around town.
I brought it in to the Ford dealership this morning and so far they haven’t heard the noise or figured out what might be causing it. The truck only has 16,000 miles and the brake pads are still in good shape. Any idea’s out there??? Thanks
