Hey guys I've searched all over the forum and cant seem to find the exact answer to my question. I own a 01 2wd 4.6 I know the 5.4 is better but when its a gift u take it as it comes. I'm looking for a good set of headers before have the exhaust done. Will appreciate any input given.

 

Pacesetter makes a few different sets for the 4.6. If you do decide that you want headers go long tube. Shorty headers are wasted money IMO. When you do your exhaust go with a true dual set up with the long tubes. Get rid of all the factory cats and get two magnaflow high flow cats. One for each side. I am a fan of the Borla pro XS muffler. With an exhaust upgrade I would do the GOTTS mod and get a custom tune from Mike Troyer from Troyer performance. Those three things gotts mod, exhaust, and tuner will really make a huge difference in the truck.

 

Will look into the pacesetter and GOTTS mod, LT are the way to go IMO thank you formuladriver01
