Goodbye 2001 Supercrew

It's been years since I've posted on this board. I was surprised I could go back and see some of my old posts. I saw one where I was complaining about $1.97 for a gal of gas.

We bought our Supercrew immediately after I saw one in a car buying guide. It was from the very first batch of SC's built in March of 2000. They called it a 2001 because it was a completely new model. Our first son was just born and we needed a safe truck that could carry kids in the back. So I traded in my reg cab Dodge Ram for it.

The truck gave us many years of trouble free grocery getting, dirt bike hauling, camping and popup camper towing. There were some minimal repairs here and there but nothing major. When we said goodbye to it yesterday it was in beautiful condition for an 11-1/2 yo truck. All the eletronics worked, the seats and floors werer unstained and no tears, no exterior damage, not even a paint chip. My wife is great and plays a major role at taking care of our cars.

I hope you all have and will enjoy your Supercrew as much as our family did. Thanks for reading this if you took the time.

Yeah they are /were great trucks, still have ours which we bought new in 03 but will probably only be for a few more years I actually like the truck more all the time and still prefer the styling to the newer squared up body style. I have actually done more mods on it now than before and it runs better than ever Plus with the price that you pay for them you have to get all the life possible from it. What did you get as a replacement?
