Help-No support from dealership!
Is anybody familiar with the following problem,
My truck 2001 - F150 Supercrew - Gen II - 5.4 Engine 4X4 - Lariat:
In the morning with a cold engine the truck is driving fine for the first 20 minutes.
Then I loose about 50% of the power in first gear, it is like the truck uses second gear and starts puling at 3000 rpm. Even tho the dealership states that with hooking up their computer the truck shifts right.
Their mechanic drove my truck and toldl me that it is because I have a bigger size tire 33 in place of 31. BS- in the morning the truck is driving fine. All the other gears are working fine.
Does anybody have any suggestions - or has had this problem.
