Well it happened, yesterday some guy decided that my Screw needed an extra stripe on the passenger door, this jerk could not get past my truck in a parkinglot but decided to try it anyway. So now the whole rear door has a 1.5 inch black mark on it from his mirror, I guess the first few inches was not enough and he wanted to make sure that I noticed it. Anyway after talking to him he tried to tell me that it was my fault because I was parked where it was not allowed, I tried to stay calm and explained to him that the word "parked" said it all and that we should not get into it any further. So now I have to spend time to get it fixed , why can't people just learn how to drive!!!

 

Since kicking his *** is probably illegal in the Netherlands, I certainly hope you have some sort of legal recourse. Does he have to pay for it, or does your insurance?

 

His insurance will have to pay for it. He explained on the insurance form that it was his fault and that the blame was not questionable. Now all I have to wait for is what USAA is going to do with it. I hope that we do not have to do anything else except drop it off and pick it up. Anyway, the damage is around 1700 dollars because they have to repaint the whole entire right side of the truck this is due to it being metalic paint. It's a good thing that I don't have to pay for it. I will take some pictures of it just for the record.
