my 2001 f150 screw wont go in park. the shifter has been feeling soft for about two weeks. it wont start in park have to start it in neutral. can any one help ????

 

I'm not sure how to fix your problem, but you might get more help in the 97-03 forum.

 

i could be wrong since i didn't fix mine myself but i'm pretty sure the linkage is just loose. it's been a while and i'm pretty sure it took my brother in law less than a minute to fix mine...sorry i cant help more on specifics but maybe you can take that and get some better info.
