Driping grab handle

In my 2001 S'crew w/ the moonroof whenever it rains i get a drip that runs down my drivers side grab handle and drips down onto the dash/headlight switch area. It appears to be coming from inside the A-Pillar and my question is: is there a drain or something above the windshield that may need looked at? I believe i have read/heard somewhere that there may be some sort of drain that can get plugged up over time. It does not appear to be coming from around the windshield as the headliner does not get wet. Thanks!

i don't have a sunroof on my truck but in my 1985 Capri RS had drain holes in the corners to allow the water to run out. i would think there should be something similar to that on these. you should be able to see those holes by sticking your head thru the roof and looking in the gutter around the opening. if there are holes then you can use a small flexible wire and push it thru to see if that might loosen something to help it drain. hopefully you have that fixed or figured out by now since this post was back in Feb.

I have the same problem on my 01 but it doesn't have a moon roof. I wonder what the problem is too.

My 2001 did this and it was the windshield leaking.

Happened a few months after getting the windshield replaced. Started leaking from grab handle and next to dash during rainstorms. Didn't leak when washing truck. Turns out I always washed it with the nose pointed up my driveway so the water drained out of the back of the gutter on top of the roof. When not pointed uphill, water ran forward along the gutter and through the hole in the seal and into the truck. Had windshield company come out and reseal the glass and it didn't leak again.
