Talking Finally getting new wheels and tire

Picking up some cheap cragar wheels from summit and trying to decide what tire to by. 285/70/17's

Goodyear DuraTrac or BFG M/T KM2's.

The BFG's are a little cheaper.

Also wondering about the 5" offset of the wheels. Don't want my tires sticking out the side of the the truck. Let my know what you think.

I'd go with the BFG M/T KM2's

you didn't mention what truck you have so lets all hope you have a 97-'03 body style

and the backspacing is gonna have 'em stick out a lil' bit

Got some MT MTZ's instead. Also bought the cragar wheels. Here's some pictures.

Interested to see how they look mounted up

I had a very good experience with those MTZ's they lasted very long and didn't start making a lot of noise until after 50K miles lol!

I'm shopping around for some new wheels as well but still can't decide on 16's or 17's

Yeah they did. They were 4 spare tire from other trucks. The guy before me put them on. She was like that for a year. Every time I had money for wheels and tires something came up. Glad there finally gone. Now it's time to move on to the other stuff. She needs a new rear bumper and a bunch of other small stuff. It's a project.
