Keypad entry on a Super Crew Lariat

Can anyone tell me if the keypad entry (driver's door) is standard or optional on a 2005-2007 Lariat? Thanks in advance. Great forum.

On a lariat, probably. IIRC, when i worked at Ford, if it didnt come with keyless entry you could get an upgrade through them. we sold and installed several of them on newer( and older) F-series. its not hard to do but it is rather pricey. Im pretty sure it comes with it, but i know some lariats did not come with it. it came standard on my 03 and i love it. its great for those cold days. heater on, locked up= nice and toasty when your ready to roll

Thanks for the info. I would gather from your post that most Super Crew Lariats have keypad entry but not all. Thanks again.

I believe it was standard on Lariats for those years.

You can just replace the Driver's Door Handle if its not there, truck should be prewired for it.

Should be a sticker on the module with the code on it.

if not on the module, you can take it to dealer and they can hook it up on the IDS and retrieve it. takes like 5 minutes. yes mclintock, most lariat supercrews came with it. Im not sure if all trucks are wired for it to be installed later, have to look into that, but wouldnt see why they wouldnt....BTW i love that movie. its actually my favorite john wayne movie YOU FIRE ME- I KILL MYSELF LOL HAHAHAHA
