Oil capacity
I had my second oil change done, I took six (6) quarts of 5W20 to the shop and after the oil was put in, the dipstick indicated that another quart was needed. The manual says six. Did anyone of you experience the same thing?

Just wanted to share an experience I had recently along the same lines...
Went to Wal-Mart to get the oil changed on my wifes Mustang. We bought 5 quarts of Mobil One which we left in the trunk. While we were waiting, the oil tech comes and says the vehicle needs another quart. The mustang got flooded in the recent storms in Houston so we took it to a shop to get a quote for our insurance...it stated 5qts of oil for the oil change written as part of the quote. I asked the mechanic just to double check.
At the time I didn't want to hassel the kid at Wal-Mart when I knew it only needed 5 quarts and in my opinion he probably forgot to put the drain plug back on before putting the oil in it. Needless to say, I wont be going back. I didn't think anyone could screw up a simple oil change but I find the world much more populated with ignorant fools these days.

I took the wife's Expedition in for an oil change and gave them six quarts of 5w 20 and they told me it was still a quart low. When I repeated the same scenario for my Screw they didn't say anything about six quarts not being enough. I checked both and both are in the full range.
Maybe theres some differences in dipstick lengths? Or maybe it's the dipsticks who are changing the oil...LOL
