Late 80's Honda Spree scooter -- mods: plastic milk crate tied to the back to carry one and a half bags of grocery. Custom-made cafeteria tray-like hard plastic tonneau cover to keep the grocery bags dry in rain.
'89 Honda CBR600F1 -- mods: Newtonian Physics mod, courtesy of 30 mph collision with a VW Rabbit. Suitably chagrined.

If you are coming from SC...come I-85 SB to Atlanta. You will merge onto the 75/85 connector. Take the North Avenue exit. Turn left, crossing back over the interstate. You will see the VARSITY on the left. Turn left at the first red light and then left into the varisty. Should be somewhere near the back. If you are planning on being there e-mail me with your name, e-mail and type of truck. I will e-mail you with further details or changes.

Time: JULY 21st (Saturday)
Probably around 4pm. Dont know what we'll do except eat and trade stories and look at some beautiful trucks.

The directions look OK. You can actually turn into the Varsity from North Ave (it's easier to get up to the top deck) or you can turn left on Spring St and then into the Varisty.

Things to do? Since this is the first time maybe just eating and hanging out will be enough. If there's enough interest then maybe we can organize some future events.

Yeah, I thought it was on a Sunday when I wrote that. I had to shoot a rifle match this weekend, but I would'a bagged it anyway 'cause of the "gay pride" thing down there.

PS: I only suffer dawg talk from UGA graduates, since I'm a Tech grad. Fans don't count! Are you a grad? I do root fer y'all - when you're playing UT, Notre Dame, or Penn State! Suffice it to say there are other teams I loathe more than the dawgs! I'd hate to start a sports flame war on a truck BB.

 

Yes, I graduated in '93 (as stated above). Not trying to start anything, just did not want to surprise you when we hopefully see you at the Varsity on JULY 21st. Anyway, I would be a fool to start anything when we will be around your turf downtown!!!

Sorry you had a bad experience with MIDAS (I read your other post). I also paid around $350, even before SCOOBY had has done. I was going to get the single in/ single out with stock tip, thinking it would be cheaper, but it cost just about the same - something about needing additional reducers or enlargers or something. I have been very pleased with my system, and like you, I get a big grin on my face when I put my foot in the gas and turn heads!!!!

JULY 21st! Doh! For some reason I had put it down in my calendar as this weekend(?). Anyway, I'll be at Ft. Benning that weekend, and won't be able to go 'cause the rifle match I'm shooting won't be over until around 4PM, and it's nearly 2 hours away.
