the Velvet ride sounds good but I don't like the idea of it lowering my truck by 3 inches.
I like the high look I get with my 17" wheels. If it wouldn't lower the truck I would jump all over it.

I think it only lowers those vehicles with the * next to them in the chart found in "Vehicles we fit" page.

Yes, I would like to know how they do also. Who is going to be the first guinea pig? :>
This product looks promising if it doesn't lower my screw, which it looks like it doesn't...

Here's the response from the BFG Velvet Ride customer service. They responded to my email overnight. Good customer service...

"Thank you for your interest in out VELVET-RIDE Shackles. To answer your question, the shackles will drop the rear end of your vehicle around 1/2". The drop if different for every vehicle, however the half tons usually see around a 1/2" drop. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a
photograph of the shackle installed on a F-150. We do have a picture of the shackle installed on just the leaf spring and frame; in order to get an idea of how the shackle looks.

The shackles are currently $159.95 and with shipping of $7.50 (UPS Standard) the total comes to $167.45.

Thank you for your time. I hope I have answered all of your questions. If you have any other questions, or problems, please don't hesitate to contact me."

Here's the answer to the drop question. I'm probably not going to order mine yet. If anyone else does, please post some photos for the rest of us....
