Was told by the off road place nearby that the 3" performance accessories body lift and westin nerf bars were not compatible with each other. Anyone know if this is true? I am looking to get both installed and wanted to make sure I order things that go together well.

Also, would it be better to get a frame mounted nerf bar so that the bar will stay lower to the ground and help in entry/exit from the lifted truck? Any opinions appreciated.

Last dilema is black vs. Chrome nerf bars. I have a bright Red SuperCrew lariat 4x2.

I have no problem with mine not sure why you were told not compatable????
wouldnt think frame mounted would look good or even work??? they would have to be reall low to not bottom out
