Very minor front end changes that I have heard. Nothing has been "officially" released from Ford to the dealerships.

 

Does anyone know what is changing from 2001 to 2002 ?

 

new for 2002 (from Fleet magazine):
Latiat Upgrade package now avail
New FX4 Offroad 4x4 equpi grp option
new loose feul cap warning light (real useful lol)
new electronic air and temperature control opt on lariat.

Any word on new colors in 2002?

 

I was able to find the 2002 Ordering guide for Canadian F150 models, but not for US. However, they should be similar.

New Offroad pkg? Got me... maybe more skid plates, different decals and 1000 of wasted money... get the regular offroad and skip the hype will probably be the consensus.

as for new colors looks like these:

I am taking that these are new colors because the paint chips in the brochure (fleet magazine) show colors on all but these ones. Beside them it reads "This color was not available at time of print".

Also it doesn't say that they are all available on F-150s or even Ford vehicles for that matter. This book covers everything from Jags to Land Rovers to the new think cars. So some may not be available to you.
