I just finished install of touch keypad in the door handle, very easy with the directions I got from toyman on the lightning board. I paid $92.35 plus shipping from fordpartsonline.com It took less than an hour, now I don't have to worry about locking keys in the truck. You can even open the truck while the engine is running.

so does this mean all XLT screw's are pre-wired for the keypad? Also, how do you get the hole to mount the keypad? Part number for the keypad? Thanks!

Not all Screws...

If you have a Gen I that came without keyless remote entry, it is likely that you do not have the wiring for the keypad. Mine came without the wiring and without the RAP module.

First, Thanks to "toyman" for his orginial post. I have a Gen I SCrew and I installed the keypad this past weekend. It only took 30 minutes to do it. Actually it took longer to remove the door panel and insulation.
A couple of additional hints when doing the install. On the Screw you don't need to remove the 'yellow' clip "toyman" has in his instructions. When you remove the door insulation you will see the door handle. Both nuts are easy take off. To remove the handle from the door; just below the right hand 10mm nut on the door handle are two rods connected to the door locking mechanism one one has a yellow clip and one that is connected to the handle with a black plastic clip. The one connected with the black plastic clip is attached with a retaining ring. Carefully remove this retaining ring, pull the rod from the handle. Next remove the to nuts holding the handle to the door. Next very carefully push out on the handle, when it clears the door. At this time you should have enough room to turn the handle to remove it from the other rod. Reverse the process to install the new handle. The wiring harness is run just below the window opening on the outside skin. There are 2 slotted holes to mount the cable. Good Luck and again THANKS to "toyman"
