Unrelated though...I would like to get togethr with all the gys in this area and check each others trucks out sometime this summer.

Post ? for Lightningcrew & anyone else in Atl area

Do you guys know of anyone in this area that will do a Belltech or DJM drop on the supercrew. Looking for someone reliable where I won't get screwed. And do any of you have either one of these setups?
Thanks

Wink

BigIke,
I was thinking about doing the same thing - maybe a 2/4 drop. At the very least I thought about leveling off the rear 2 inches. I have not checked into getting it done yet - I am still trying to get the wife's approval. I have spent a lot on the truck lately, so I probably need to lay low for awhile before buying anything else. I met up with Scooby yesterday so he could hear my exhaust - loved his '01 L lights and WetOkole seat covers. The lights definitely are next on my list. Let me know if you find a good source for lowering the truck and count me in if you all want to meet up sometime.

Let me know if you guys in Atlanta would like to get together sometime. As a suggestion, maybe meeting at the Varsity in Atlana one Sat / Sun afternnon would be fun. I bet it would be a blast to get 10 - 20 Screw owners together and crusie around town like the folks in our Mustang club did every now and then.

Ramblinwreck,
How long have you been waiting on your l-tails? I ordered mine from Gwinnett Ford, it took about 3 weeks.. I picked them up about 3 weeks ago, and the lady told me that since they raised the price, they were becoming much more available.
Any time you guys want to get together, I'm in.

I've been waiting about a week. One side came in, but the other is coming from Chicago, I was told. Can't wait to see them on her. Next mod after that will be line-x or Ravin. I'm waiting to see what Scooby14B does with his exhaust...

I could go for that. Count me in.

Still waiting on my L-tails to come in ($44 from dealer, $98 total for the pair w/tax), and my exhaust. I will probably go with a Jegs y-pipe and a Z55 single 3" out.

Meeting up at the Varsity would be awesome. Let's just schedule it far enough in advance where everyone can plan for it.

I've been asking around the harley board about an f150 rally in Atlanta... no one was interested...

good to see that you guys had the idea as well!

How about the middle to end of July? Does that give everyone enough time?

Hey BigIke,

There is a place off Buford Hwy. called Four Wheel Parts Center. The road they're on is actually called "Four Wheel Drive". It is in Duluth between 120 and Pleasant Hill. They do alot of custom stuff and they've been around a long time. You might get them a try. I've used them in the past and they've done good work for me.

Just popping in here quickly...

Echoing what someone else said, I'd check out Godfather's in Decatur.

The Varsity would be cool for me. Are non SCrews welcome?
