Bummer.

Ordered my '01 Lightning heads and tails two months ago...had all the lights in but the right tail. When I picked up my left tail, Ford had accidentally sent an extra left. The guy at the dealer told me 'someone stole the tails out of one of the lightnings on the lot'.

Well...I got tired of waiting, so I called to see if my light was in yesterday. 'No, maybe we should re-order it' the man said. So then I called the New Truck lot, just for kicks and giggles. Whaddya know...that Lightning had it's tails replaced and it was sold...

So tell me...they had a Left tail in parts already...where do you think they got the right one? MINE! Had to be...anyone got any other explanation?

 

I'm sure it was yours. Not much for integrity but if you could sell a tail light or a truck, which would you pick?

 

But, this serves as a good reminder to keep that tailgate locked at all times, those taillights are awful easy to steal.
