Anyone know if where to buy a power lock for an A.R.E. LS II lid? Beacon store said I could use the same power lock as for a tailgate, is this true?
Price?, install info? Or would I be better off just taking it to the guys who installed my alarm? I'd like to get a power lock too for the tailgate. Appreciate any help you can give!

arod, I got mine from my ARE dealer. It's much different the the PowerBolt for the tailgate.

Thanks for the reply, I know you've had discussions with this before, but do you mind if I ask you how much it cost you from the A.R.E. dealer? My lid is already connected to my alarm system, can I just tap the power locks for both the tailgate and the lid to the wiring of the alarm trigger of the lid?

Hi arod, ,it retails for $150 installed but since I had purchased a BUNCH of stuff from them I got a price break. Plus they did a really nice job wiring it. I have both the tailgate and the ARE lock connected to the circuit for my passneger doors. Just hit the button on the remote and it locks or unlocks. I really like them both. Hope this helps.
