Post Rod Racks?

Have any of you fishermen or women solved the problem of carrying surf rods or fly rods on their SCrew yet, got any suggestions?

Call the product info line @ Quadratech or email them. I misplaced my newest catalog, but remember seeing a surf rod holder that mounts to the front of the F-150's. I think it also might require a front mounted hitch, but I am unsure of this.
Here is the website...

I've got a 2'x5' Aluminum Rod/Cooler Rack for the front of my truck. It is custom made by Reynolds Racks and mounts to the frame of the truck in place of the tow hooks. I'm going to Cape Hatteras this weekend so I'll take a picture of it and post it on the site as soon as I can.

It's a great solution because I can put it on and take it off as I please and it has enough room to carry 7 rods, 2 48qt coolers (or 1 large cooler) my tackle box and some extra gear.

Putting a ski rack on the topper for long distance trips is best for carrying my rods but I want them accessible on the front of the truck while I'm on and around the beaches.

If you love surf fishing, you have to check out The Surfcaster. I get their catalog, but they have a website too:

www.thesurfcaster.com

They have rod racks with a front mounting bracket that attaches with the license plate bolts. You can find it on their website with a few clicks. I've sworn by them ever since they found me an Abu-Garcia 9000 conventional reel w/out level wind and matched it with a custom 11.5' conventional surf rod. I might have gotten the very last one left. While everyone is ripping the skin off their fingers with their spinning reels, I'm ripping off casts up to the length of a football field with old faithful.

Sadly the Stillen rack shown on the project Super-Crew never went into production, they told me today, due to liability issues. They went on further to say they are constantly getting requests for it!

Strike two with Quadratec no rod racks or any racks for the Super-Crew.

The surfcaster does make a vertical style rack for either 2 or 4 rods that mounts to a licence plate holder/bracket. It looks like a great solution for on beach rod transport but won't work for the long distance haul.

Any other fishermen with Super-crews?

Forget the Surfcaster's bumper bracket it won't fit the Ford.
