2004 Subwoofer wiring connectors locations

Well I went thru all the threads and posts I could find on where the locations of this cable ends are located and they did not locate the ends for me. Anyways here is what I found. Should have taken pictures but didn't think about it til done.

The HU end is easy to find as it is taped to the main harness just left of the stereo opening. May throw you for a loop as mine had a protective cap over it.

A lot of us were/are having trouble finding the rear connector. Every thread I read said if you had 1 it was under the rear driver side seat by the slit in the carpet. Well after getting tired of searching lifted that side of the carpet and there was nothing. So I popped the side panel loose and notice a small harness coming out of the main harness where it turns up coming out of the rocker trough and going up the side panel. Found the connector 2/3s of the way up, unwound it from the main harness and fed it under the seat. There are 2 white tabs for screwing it down but I left them alone. I can't see feeding it under the rear seat without removing the front bolt. So the conclusion I have come up with is the connector location may have something to do with who was on the line at the time.

Forgot to mention there is another connector in the rear pillar but it is fasten to the panel and only has 1 wire. The sub connector was above it wrapped around the harness

Now to buy a sub and connect it. From what I can see the only change between the older (04) and newer (07) harness and unit is how they ground out.
