Post Lid ordering time

I'm getting ready to order a lid, if I can decide which one, and was wondering what the average delivery time is after order is placed.

Thanks

8 to 10 weeks on a snug lid in FL, if you can find a dealer. Damn poor distribution on their part. That's why I went ARE, 10 days from order to install, in central FL.

A.R.E. Let me say it again A.R.E. looks so good and built like a tank, I'm 235 and can stand in the middle no problem, it covers all the black bed trim, hinges, shocks, lock are all top notch and paint is perfect. I think this top makes the truck look more of a brute than the others, and did I say waterproof, yep mine is.

Here in Dallas, they are very readily available in nearly any color. We have a chain called DFW Camper Corral and they have like 8 locations so between them, they usually have what you want in any brand or color available. Good Luck. I would go with a SnugLid myself although I don't have one on this truck. Had one on last truck. I got a really good deal on the one I have because I found a place that had some lids on closeout because they were going out of biz. Got mine painted, installed out the door for $500.00 so I could not pass it up.

Ordered my ARE and 8 days later the shop gave me a call. Installation took about 1.5 hours along with the installation of my BedRug. Very happy with both.

Cooper, my vote goes to snug lid
if you tell me your e-mail, i'll send jpegs to show you why. It has to do with the rounded edge right behind the cab. Snuglid is about the only lid with a big enough curve to hide the black plastic.

my e-mail is jleast@att.com

I love my A.R.E. Great looking on truck. Especially a 4x4. Mine is black, I drove in, they set it on to let me look at it, I paid for it, and drove out 30 minutes later. See a pic at http://barefootskier.f150online.net/index.html

After asking around I also decide to go with the ARE lid. I'll be getting mine in about a month.
