Radiator Update
I have a copy of this page of the Dealer News Bulletin in hand. I don't know if it is old news or not but I thought it might be of interest to some.
Excerpt from dealer news bulletin DNB-0118 May 4, 2001
F-150(2001)-Heavy Duty Electrical/cooling group (531) revision
The Super Engine Cooling(Radiator Upgrade) is not included in the Heavy Duty Electrical Cooling Group(531). Dealers are asked to revise the Group Misc. Options Page of the order guide to remove the Super Engine Cooling(Radiator Upgrade) from the package content.
There you have it folks, straight from Ford as accurate as I can make it retyping. Some typo’s may have snuck in but the technical info is correct.
This does imply that it was claimed to be included prior to this date. My truck ordered a year earlier has the standard radiator. I am discussing it with the Ford Regional customer representative Wednesday, May 30th.
