I initially was going to lift my truck but after seeing a few pictures on here or trucks with no lift and 305 tires I changed my mind. These look really nice and will save me a lot of money. I have one question...If I turn my torsion bars one turn will this effect the ride? Also will this need to be done for 305/70/16s on 16x8 wheels? I also want to level out the truck.

 

I cranked my bars about 2.5 turns each (~3/4" lift) and have not noticed a stiffer ride. I also had the alignment checked and all was still in spec - no adjustment needed. I've read here that once you get over an inch or so of lift (3+ turns), then you start getting a stiffer ride and have possible alignment issues.

I have felt no il effects after raising my bars 1". I didn't need it to clear the tires but I think it looks much better level.

All-in-all a great setup. The tires could be a little better balanced. It is my second set of Goodyear ATS and have had the same problem with both. I may go with Coopers next time. They have recently started producing a 33/12.5/16

I have the 305's on 16x8 with no lift or cranks on the bar. The clearance is close, but I haven't rubbed yet in the month+ that I've had them on. Very happy with the looks and ride. However, a deeper offset 16x8 could cause problems when turning.
