Angry "Rustbunnies!"

I know people have talked about rust before and I even ordered some rust converter that one of you recommended, but this is a new truck!!
Why does this new truck have completely rusted rotor and shock assemblies (except where the brake pad scrapes) and driveshaft, etc. I live near the desert, but I keep finding new rust all the time, and it's time consuming to take care of.
I've had 25 year old cars with barely any rust. I don't understand why this isn't covered under the warranty. There should have been a factory coating over all the metal parts.
Sooner or later, I'll have the entire underneath painted. I'm taking before & after pics of the rustbunnies!

That stuff is going to rust eventually. Who cares if it rust. The only rust I'll worry about is stuff on the body and frame.

I'm kind of surprised by the fact that your drive shaft is rusting. My 01 HD has an aluminum shaft, I thought they all did.
