Post Fender Flares

I am interested in buying some fender flares for my screw. Warn just came out with them for the supercrew. Does anyone have fender flares already? I would like to have a few more inches of clearance for larger tires without spending over $1000 for a lift. Thanks

Yes, they are the "thinline" flares, Warn doesn't have the "4X flares" available for the SCrew yet. I think they are about $120 for the front and $120 for the back so about $240 for the set of 4, but you may be able to find them cheaper.

Question

Fordboy,

Just out of curiosity, did you wind up buying any flares for your Screw? If so,I'd like to hear your experience.I'm considering getting those Warn Thinline flares myself. Best price I've seen so far is $221.90 for the whole set at 4wheelparts.com.

Autoloadr, I still havn't gotten around to the fender flares yet. I am doing a few other mods first. it was going to cost me about $250 for them, and I think that my exhaust is more important to have done. Let me know if you end up getting some.

the fender flares will not give you more inches of clearance for larger tires.

Cool

Personally, I have very little interest in larger tires for my Screw. I might consider going one size up, whatever fits in the stock wheel wells without modification.

The reasons I'm interested in fender flares are (1) I like the way they look, and (2) protection in the "parking lot" wars. The height of the SuperCrew and the factory running boards give me good protection against car doors. The wheel wells are the only unprotected, vulnerable areas along the side of the truck. The flares would solve that problem.
