Question Looking for nerf bar suggestions..

We are looking for nerf bars for our '01 supercrew and I thought you guys would be a good place to start. Probably looking for black, just not too expensive. Any ideas? Dealers? Thanks in advance.

Jewelboy,
I have the black Westin's. they work great. Easy to get in and out of the truck. Paid $225 installed from Discount Hitch in Houston, TX. They had them installed in less than an hour. Sturdy. I've jumped up and down on them (200# +/-) with no problems. Check their website. They were offering a rebate ($15-$25). Don't know if it has expired...good luck!

Westin makes a really good bad. So does Manik, I have heard that some Maniks will go from wheel to wheel, which would offer protection from caving in any part of the body if you were to go over a very large hump or log. Other companies (Steelhorse, Ram, etc) make some but I am not for sure of the quality.

I would go with GoRhino... Expensive but 7 years no rust/cip guarantee. Had my S. crew 6 months now and the chrmoe Ford boards are rusting Damn stones but what do you do... If I had it to do over again I would go with Rhinos or none at all. Probably the Chromed stainless but that is just me.

I went with the black Westins.I installed them myself in less than an hour. I purchased them from Quality bumber in Arizona for 179.00. I think the Westin company is still offering a 15.00 dollar rebate. Good Luck

Westin rebate is good until the end of May.
I've got Black Westins on my SuperCrew and have been happy thus far.

I installed them myself in an hour.
Hardest part was distinguishing between the front and rear brackets.
