Help - Sound damping my SCrew
As one of our local radio talk station host's say, "I'm going in". Next week I'm going to sound dampen my SCrew. So do any of you, out there, have any helpful hints or things to be careful of. I'm going down to metal inside the cab. How do I remove the back wall panel? How easy is it to reinstall the carpet? While everything is out I'm installing amps for my sound system. Any suggestions on how and where to mount them. They are a RF Punch 400a4 and 100z2. Should I make some kind of rack to get them off the carpet? Thanks!

Hate to burst your bubble guy, but another site member did the exact same thing you're preparing to do. He said it was a lot of work and in the end not really worth it.
Can't speak first hand though.

MN-Trap, I found a website that sells the SAME material as Dynamat. www.mcmaster.com On the left side enter in part # 9709T18. This is for a 32" x 54" piece of acoustic damping material. cost is $12.79 plus shipping. Hope this can help out.
