Thumbs up Got my L rear lights

Ordered my L tail from www.oemfordparts.com about two weeks ago and received them this afternoon. Thanks for the help and the warning about the screws being a little too long. Even with three washers on the bottom screw, I noticed it starting to protrude in the light assembly. Overall it only took a few minutes for each light assembly. They look a lot better than I thought they would on my white SCrew. Hopefully I'll have pics by this weekend.

Chuck_tx, When I put mine in I used a stainless steel fender washer and a SS 3/8" nut on the bottom screws. Worked great and it's solid. I also installed L headlights Here's a couple of pic's

Great pics MN-Trap!

I love the head and corner lights. I'll probably add those later this summer.

k_fabec, It's an A.R.E. LSII. I love it and it keeps the bed dry. I got mine last year on sale from a local dealer Go here http://www.4are.com/ to find a retailer near you.

MN-Trap on your L headlights are each side comprised of two pcs, one for the turn and one for the head? or is it one giant chunk of glass? were the headlights hard to install ? thanks

Todbo, they are two seperate units. The headlights (2001 L) and the clear corners. The corners I installed last year and the are not the 2001 L's. Both units are really easy to install. Do a search on 'corner' or 'headlight' installs on this board and you should find all you need to know. Some really good information has been posted. If your just adding the headlights, installation is much easier if you pull the corners first. Installing 2 headlights and 2 corners shouldn't take more than 20 minutes.
If you search this board for 'L' headlights you should find a thread from Robin. He has pic's of both the "L" headlights and corners.
Good Luck!
