Post Temp. Sensor

Hey does anyone know where the sensor for the thermometer in the overhead console is located. I figure it must be under the cabin maybe in front of the fuel tank? Just curios.

I think it is behind the grill towards the headlight on the driver's side. I thought of purchasing a second one and installing it in the cab and putting a switch on the overhead console. By changeing the switch you could read the outside or inside temp. anybody tried this or thought of this as well.

I'm not sure where mine is. I've been thinking its inside the cabin. Had some hot weather here in the low 90s and when I got in the other day after work the temp read 107 degrees (I even had left all the windows open about an inch or so). When I started driving with the windows all the way down the temp reading was down to 92 degrees.
I like the idead for an inside/outside switch. I wonder if you could make the selector do it for you with a second sensor.
