Okay, I dropped my truck off at the dealer yesterday because the Ford rep was gonna be there sometime today. They gave me one of those SportTracs to drive, kinda cool lil SUV with some neat features but doesnt compare to it's BIG BROTHER!!

The owner has been really great thru this entire deal but is telling me there isnt nothing they can do. He sia I could call Ford's customer service to submit a compaint to some kind of board. This guy seems to be honest with me. A repaint or bed swap and there would still be a paint mismatch because it doesnt come form the same batch of paint. If I did a trade it would cost me money.

So they offer me the ESP again but this time the best they have to offer. It's the premium 6year/100k miles with no deduct and one day rental car if truck is in for only 1 day. If more than 1 day of course I get the rental for longer. The retail of this plan is around $2,600. I know it's probably not costing them anything.

The rear quarter isnt that bad, infact cant even notice when looking at it head on. It's when you are at an angle view is when I can tell.

I want to do something cause I got some mods to do, Gibson SS is in basement and will get LineX after I have made my decision.

Should I give in or put up a fight. I dont have time for alot of hassle. If I want to figth what are my next steps?

I wouldn't take the ESP. I plan on getting a ESP but not from Ford. There are better plans out there for half the price. Keep fighting! If you decide to accept the dealer's offer I truely believe you will regret it.
