Post Screw Pricing

As fate would have it..I found new vehicle pricing info after I ordered my new Screw. I'm paying $200.00 over invoice. I now know the dealer cost with and witout "holdback". Vehicle is due to arrive May 28th to dealer.

Any suggestions on how I can recoup a few more bucks before I take delivery$$$?? Or am I just being a sore loser? Well..not loser but you know what I mean

Dan:

I ended up getting below invoice, but learned a good lesson. Dealer service and integrity is valuable.

The dealer I now go to for service simply couldn't go below invoice because of their overhead, etc. They probably treat and pay their sales people a little better, etc. etc.

The dealer I bought from this time was the lowest in price...but the slimiest, most dishonest group I have ever dealt with. I was fortune to have retained leverage (paid with credit card), but they have ripped off more than a few others I know.

If you paid $200 over invoice and found an honest, reputable dealer....then you received the best over-all value. Enjoy the ride and don't look back........

I agree, if you are happy with the dealer you can't go wrong. I paid 600 over invoice and I'm very happy. You will love it. Goodluck.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the input guys. I guess I was reading too many posts about pricing below invoice I and got a little annoyed.

Your points are well taken. The dealer I went to is the best in the area. They give you a loaner car (no charge) if your vehicle is going to be tied up.

One of the mechanics is a close friend from years ago. He says the service department is better than any of the others in the area..barr none.

So....the truck is due May 28th. First mods are hard tonneau, Lightning wheels and tires, 2" drop for rear, Air Raid, and cat-back exhaust.

Suggestions from there?
