Anybody with the System 4 Alarm adjust the impact sensor? I can't find mine, the manual says its under dash on drivers side? Is it burried deep?

 

The System 4 alarm is installed at the dealer usually by a outside contractor (some local alarm guy or shop) it all depends where he decids to mount the sensor. Look for the module under the dash possibly mounted on the firewall. If I remember correctly there is a black and red wire from a 2 pin connector to the shock sensor. the Sensor is about the size of a box of matches. If you dont mind me asking hou much did you pay for your's installed.

The alarm system was on the truck from the factory. I think it was around $250

 

My dealer quoted me $250. Seems kind of hi since there isn't much to it but I don't really want some cheesy add-on unit.
