Post Bedrug Install Question

Just arrived today. $288.00 plus $18.00 shipping. Noticed that after I zipped it up that the zipper might rub on the bed. Haven't put it in the bed yet so I don't know if it does or not. Any tips or hints for installation from someone with one appreciated.

Cool

ScrewKing,

Bring it over to my house and I'll show you how to install a bed rug in my Screw

I have been looking at a BedRug at my local truck stuff shop along with an ARE LSII hard lid. Will have to "negotiate" with the wife on the finances.

When you do get it installed I would appreciate you describing the installation to those of us that might try and do it ourselves also.

I am sittin down to dinner, But I do have a bedrug and installed it myself a few months back.

Without looking at it right now, I think I remember that the zipper kind of tucked in when you folded it up and install it. I may be mistaken and I will run out and take a look at it and repost after dinner.

I love my bedrug and you got a good deal. I paid 325 which included shipping. Pretty close to your deal. That was the best I could find.

You won't be disapointed.

Hey I went out and looked at my bedrug. You are correct the zipper does touch the bed floor at the back where the zipper ends. Anyway I looked and could not see any scratches on my bed.

I have had mine in for about 3 months and it still looks great. No scratches from the zipper. I may take some tape or something and put it over the zipper to help protect the bed from scratches, but I am not overly concerned.

As for the install it is pretty straight forward.

Good luck and if you have any more questions let me know.

Can you tell me where you ordered your bedrug? I've been waiting for mine from tntservices for about 2 weeks now and it was for the same price. Just curious if you bought it at the same place (& how long it took to arrive)...Thanks.

Arod, Ordered from same place on a Saturday. Took two weeks and two days for delivery. Pgio thanks for the info, I figure a strip of felt tape to prevent rubbing on the zipper.

Thumbs up

ScrewKing,
Thanks, I got home from work today and there it was waiting for me! Just finished installing, took me 2.5 hours (really took my time) I'm glad I took out the tie-downs before I installed, just took a little longer putting them back on, then I installed an after-market bed-extender too. It looks (and feels) great!
