ZACH:
Thanks. It has been a long wait but worth it. I have been able to save a good bit to put down and thanks to all y'alls help I feel I really made an educated decision. Its nice to know more than the salesman about a vehicle.

4X4:

Well I really wanted a PSD. But there were several things that were involved that finally made me realize a screw was probably more for me.
1- I wouldnt be towing much.
2- The extra $4000 was hard to justify
3- I was only getting a supercab 250, so now I have more room
4- The little bit more mpg was not enough for me to justify. I love those PSD, drive onw nearly everyday @ work, but just couldnt swing it right now.

Again thanks all!

Question

Scooby, which Midas shop were you referring to over on the Exhaust forum? I work near Buford, and I am looking for a good Midas shop to put in a Ravin Z-55 or 77 muffler. Thanks!

It is the MIDAS on Satellite BLVD near Gwinnett Place mall. If you go 85 south get off on Pleasant Hill Rd. and turn right. Go about 1 mile/ about 5 lights and Satellite Blvd crosses. Turn left. The Midas is on the left right next to a goodyear place (3632 Satellite Blvd). I have a card he gave me and it looks like his name is Tom. He wrote it down and it's kinda hard to tell. He is a man in his 40-50's. He was wearing a white shirt (manager?) and was really enthusiastic. He had his hands real dirty too so that encouraged me. They do the exhausts for HUB Ford and Gwinnett PLace ford and several "other" dealers when they do "special" vehicles. If you have yours done before me please e-mail @ SCOOBY14B@AOL.com. I checked MIDAS shops in Gainesville, Lawrenceville and Snellville and none seemed like they cared and weren't really informed about the Ravin systems. The one on Satellite was really pushing the Ravin and thought that they were much better quality than FM's. Hope this helps.

BTW: If you go down there, tell him a guy that got a price a few weeks ago sent you, and he will be bringing his red supercrew very soon. You may wanna call first (770) 476-8770. Looks like his name is Tom.

Price quoted was $299 plus tax. This included 2 3" diameter 36" long tips.

Talking

Scooby,
Left a question for you in another message, but I see you have answered it with your last response. I have also been looking at the Ravin Z55 and that sounds like a good price. I will go see Tom next week. Thanks for the info.
