Post pics of the lightning lights on my screw

finally got the pics up of the tails, headlights and corners. need to get some clear bulbs for the corners so they don't look at yellowish. got the 3rd lamp in but not connected (gonna have to have the dealer do that i guess when they put in my radiator). the pics are at www.weslazara.com/screw

Hey Pesos, looks great, I'm presuming it's a fairly simple "bolt-in" swap, is that right?
Noticed in the last pic that UPS was there to bring you more goodies!!!

the headlights have three screws on them, each with a little plastic flywheel type thing (sorry I can't describe better) that can be twisted on the screw to sit at a certain point along the length of the screw... two of them lined up exactly as my stock light screws did, but the third one needed the plastic part to be turned a few times in order to get the plastic deal into the correct alignment. not difficult, just need a wrench to hold the screw in place while you turn the little plastic thing. I'll try to snap a pic of my stock lights to show what the heck i'm talking about

the tails are about $30/piece, corners $40/piece, heads $80/piece, 3rd lamp about $130. i got them from Gary at www.fordpartsonline.com

unfortunately that UPS truck wasn't for me, i get my stuff shipped to work =) i just pulled up the block to try and get the ocean in some of the pictures, but it was too bright so it all came out white.

the headlights and corners are a simple swap (you have to adjust one of the screw mechanisms on the heads just a bit), but the taillights you actually have to either use a washer or cut the screw shorter... i didn't know this and my screws poked through the casing of the new lights a little bit! you can't tell though.

the 3rd lamp came out easy (2 philips screws) but unfortunately came out without the harness attached so i have the new one in but not hooked up. will take some pics of that today probably.

the fly lookin dude was just some guy happening to cross the street... i thought he looked pimp so I made sure to get him in the shot

Wes

hey Pesos
cool looking taillights and all! I recently got my black 4x4 Screw. Im also in the City (and getting used to fitting down the City streets - you know what I mean). Quick question - sort of off topic - who did your AirForce 1 - yourself or someone in the bay area - I want to get one, but dont want to deal with installation etc.
Any help would be appreciated - there are not a lot of us with these in the area-

hi inked,

i had the guy that installed my gibson exhaust (michael's mufflers in Santa Clara, i was living further south at the time) help me install the air force 1... i just wanted to make sure i didn't royally screw it up...

honestly, although the instructions aren't the greatest, it is a fairly simple installation (I build computers not cars). feel free to ask me any questions about it, not to mention the hundreds of people on this BB that know much more than i do...

where in the city do you live? I'm in West Portal. the garage at the place I live in is big enough to fit 4 SCrews in there!!! too bad the door isn't quite wide enough to pull mine into it :-(

talk to you soon,
Wes
