Angry Window Tint Peeling

Some of the tint has peeled off at the base of my front driver side window. The truck had the tint when I bought it. Is this dealer tint or factory tint? It is not quite as dark as the rear door windows. Would this be something that falls under warranty?

There is a 99.99% chance that the window tint was done by the original owner of the truck. You may try and contact him to see where he had it done and see if it is under warranty from the window tint shop that put it on. Unless your dealer put the tint on(unlikely) then Ford will not help you.

I agree. Usually always owner applied stuff. It's best to go to a local tint shop for reapplication. This stuff is always being improved. Chances are, the tint available today is far superior to what you've got. And it's not very expensive to replace. I had my Screw front windows tinted with 20% for about 60 bucks. Just remember, you can't use windex and terry on your tints. Be gentle. BTW, please don't scrimp on your tint. You get what you pay for. Get the best you can buy. It'll make a difference in the long run. And check out your tint shop. Pros are easy to find, but watch out for the "kids" posing as pros.
