Post Looking for people

I'm looking for people who have complained to their dealers about the "axle wind-up" that they encounter when turning sharply. In a sharp turn, a 4x4 will bind up on dry road. The dealer says that nobody ever complains about this. I'm looking for any info on this.
Thanks

This is normal.

Same thing on my 1990 Suburban. Same thing on my 1977 Cherokee. Same thing on my 2001 SCrew. Same thing on any Explorer, Expedition, and Tahoe that I've ever rented. The only 4x4 I ever had without this "binding" was my 1993 Grand Cherokee with Quadra-Trac - a much superior 4x4 system, almost like AWD.

Please don't take this the wrong way, it's not intended like that....BUT, why exactly are you putting it in 4WD on flat, dry, hard pavement anyway? just curious....

Keep rockin'

I assume that this is the first 4wd pickup you have owned. Use this helpful hint in the future... Don't use 4wd on hard, dry surfaces. good luck
