Rattle when stopped at lights.
I get a rattle from under the truck when stopped at a light. With the truck in gear and my foot on the brake I get a pretty loud rattle. If I put it in "Park" and take my foot off the brake it stops. If I put put it back in gear it rattles again. Anyone else have this problem? Other than that, God I love this truck!
I have a similar problem with mine occasionally. The sound is coming from a vibrating heat shield on one of the catalytics in my case. I traced the noise by leaving the car in drive and putting the parking brake on real tight, then getting out and listening from outside. Be careful if you try this, it might be safer to have someone stay in the car and put on the brakes as well so you can find the noise. From what you describe I suspect it is probably exhaust system related. Mine is more noticeable when the AC is on, but it has not gotten bad enough to take it in (I hate dealership service depts!)
