You know, the Mod's thing. Been researching a few differnt things. Decided on the (can you believe it?) Leer 700 Series Hard lid. It just came into production for the Screw a week ago, as I was told by the Factory. Looks very similar to the A.R.E. LSII only has a single pushbutton to unlock instead of that big ugly handle. $699.00 Painted, Carpeted, and installed. Bought it in N.H., no sales tax. Also ordered a Bedrug from TNT Services in Maine for $288.00. Then to top it all off I bought a pair of 9005 bulbs and did the Fog light swap. Drivers side went right in, passenger side had to start two of the legs first, twist 1/2", before third would go into it's slot. No cutting of leg. Wife says I've spent enough for the day. Says I love my truck more than her(theres a country song in there somewhere). Told her that we'll have to buy her new shirts because her arms are stretching with all the gold that hangs off her wrists!! She loves this truck just as much as I do. Now as far as the Kids are concerned..........sometimes we could take'm or leave'm. Usually end up taken'm. They love the back seats!
